As-Saalamu Alaykum (Peace be with you),
An essential part of the fasting in the holy month of Ramadan is the spirit of festive sharing. The Jaffari Community Centre would like to cordially invite you to our annual Interfaith Iftar (breaking of the fast dinner) on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
Sharing our rich traditions and celebrating our cultural heritage is a core value of the Jaffari Community Centre. We look forward to your participation in bringing our communities closer and strengthening our ties by promoting harmony, friendship and an understanding of the commonalities we share. You will enjoy a delicious dinner alongside members of our community while also gaining a better understanding of our faith (including why Muslims fast in the month of Ramadan).
The program officially begins at 7 p.m., however, please arrive at 6:30 p.m. to enjoy some activities, including calligraphy, an exhibition and more.

The Jaffari Community Centre is regarded as a place of worship. We request our guests to wear modest clothing with shoulders and knees covered. Women are also requested to cover their hair. The event will be gender-segregated and some areas of the facility may require guests to remove their shoes.
